Unzip the file you just downloaded. Open the Image Diagnostics Tool application.

Click the Scanner Control button to open the iNSIGHT USB Scanner Control Interface. Select the Scanner Service Mode Functions checkbox to enable the service functions.

Click the Firmware Update button. Click Yes to update the scanner firmware. The Select Firmware File window opens.

Navigate to the firmware file you downloaded (firmware files have an.app extension) and click Open. When the firmware update is complete, the iNSIGHT 700c USB Scanner Control Interface will exit service mode.
